3 Website Pages That Deserve More Love

We’re showing some love to the most underrated corners of your website.

Everyone obsesses over the homepage and services page, and don’t get us wrong, they matter.

We have a whole episode on Home Page Design Tips.

But there are a few other sneaky little spots on your site that are quietly carrying a lot of weight… and often get totally ignored in the process.

Let’s dig into the three website pages you might be neglecting, and how to fix them 👇

#1 Contact Page

Many times, this is the second most viewed page on people’s websites, especially if your home page does a good job at attracting your audience and convincing them to inquire about your services.

Now we need to make that final step easy.

These are our top-viewed pages:

Think of it this way: This page should not JUST be a form… It’s the final impression before someone reaches out. This is your chance to attract the right people and repel the wrong ones.

Take a look at your contact pages. Does it need some sprucing up?

Ways to amp up your contact page:

  • Write a warm, welcoming headline.
  • Add a short note about what to expect next.
    • How soon will you reply?
    • What happens after they hit submit?
  • Include strategic FAQs (the perfect way to increase word count on this page that’s notorious for having too little information!)
  • Offer a gentle nudge to browse more in case they aren’t ready (don’t lose em!) Examples: Blogs, podcast episodes, freebies, or other resources.
  • Add a friendly photo or brand element. Make it feel like a human is on the other side.

This is your final opportunity to convert someone. Give it your best effort!

#2: About Page

Guess what our next top-visited page is after our contact page? Yep… It’s our about page

Here’s a mindset shift… this page should actually be more about your reader than it is about you.

Yes, your story matters. Yes, people want to know who’s behind the biz.

But they really want to know:

  • Can this person help me?
  • Do they get me?
  • Can I trust them?

If you treat your About Page like a trust-building tool (not just a bio), it becomes a powerful conversion page.

Ways to Amp Up Your About Page:

  • Lead with your why, not your resume. Share the deeper reason behind your work and who you love to help.
  • Show your audience they’re in the right place. Use copy like: “Sound familiar?”  followed by pain points or goals they’re navigating.
  • Introduce yourself like a real human. Sprinkle in personality, fun facts, and relatable quirks (yes to margaritas and messy mom life for us!)
  • Include a strong call-to-action. Yes, this still matters! Give a clear next step, whether that’s exploring your services or inquiring.
  • Add social proof: A few quick testimonials, logos, or a transformation story go a long way on your about page.

We know it’s tricky to write your About page (no one wants to write about themselves!). If you think of it as a way to connect with your audience, it’s a little easier!

#3: Final Call-To-Action Page

Whether it’s an Investment Guide or Product Detail Page, this is the page where your reader decides if they’re in or out.

And yet… so many of these pages are rushed, confusing, or missing key info.

Ways to Amp Up Your Final CTA Page:

  • Show the transformation: Before and After’s, Social Proof of the Product IRL,
  • Reiterate the benefits— not just the features (make it about them, not just you.)
  • Include FAQs: We clearly love a good FAQ section. This is your chance to answer those burning questions you know your audience has, OR address objections before they even inquire.
  • Guide the action: Make your buttons feel like a confident heck yes!
  • Testimonials or case studies? Yes, please. Always!

This isn’t just “the page with the price.”

It’s your final pitch. It should seal the deal with confidence, clarity, and connection.

Do These Website Pages Need Some Edits?

Alright, friend, we hope this episode got you thinking differently about some of the sleeper hit pages on your website.

While everyone’s obsessed with the homepage, it’s these three pages that do a whole lot of heavy lifting behind the scenes.

  • Your Contact Page isn’t just a form — it’s your final first impression.
  • Your About Page isn’t just your bio — it’s where you build trust.
  • And your Final CTA Page? It’s your closer.

So, here’s your challenge: Choose one of these three pages and give it a little extra love this week. Even just one small tweak.

Or better yet, add this to your next website working day… and if you don’t know what that is, tune into episode #157. It’s our new favorite day of the month 😊

FAQs About Key Website Pages

What is a good number of pages for a website?

There’s no right or wrong answer! It depends on what you offer. At a minimum, you need a home, about, services, and a contact page. After that, consider adding a blog, resources, a podcast, or a lead magnet page.

Is it better to have a one-page website or multiple pages?

We started with a one-page website for a few years, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it! As you begin to grow your business and expand, consider adding more pages to support your business goals.

What is the best website platform for small businesses?

We use and love Showit! It has so many design capabilities and is great for SEO. We connected it to WordPress to support our blog.
